Table Lamps

Table lamps are portable luminaires that are composed of diffusers, reflectors, and shades that direct the light to suit various needs.

A common lighting mistake is to illuminate a large room or space with one ceiling light fixture. This normally creates unbalanced lighting in the room where there is over illumination and glare close to the light and as you go further from the light the room gets very dark. You can avoid this problem by supplementing light with the help of other sources of light like recessed cans, lamps, track lighting, and most easily with torchiere floor and table lamps. Table lamps can balance brightness in a room and complement the lighting from other luminaires.
